Presenting in TechEd 2010 North America

Its always a great experience presenting in Microsoft’s premier conference like TechEd, this year TechEd at New Orleans, LA was really special as we as a company has released so many new products last year and it was the time to demonstrate and educate the IT PRO and Developer community about all of them. A total of 11,000 people have attended TechEd this year going beyond the expectations.

I reached a day before (Sunday 6th June) after 25 hours of journey from Bangalore-Dubai- Houston – New Orleans to attend the TechEd Staff Meeting and helped preparing the Virtualization Booth for Microsoft Attendees, I was also responsible for staffing the Virtualization booth and talking to customers and partners and showcase, educate and talk about Microsoft Virtualization Strategy and solution offerings.

I spoke to close to 300 customers on the Virtualization booth and it was exciting to see huge turnout of attendees on Microsoft Virtualization booths. Its always nice to speak to the customers and partners face to face talking about their scenario and how Virtualization can help them solving real business problems.

It was a great honour to share the Speaker Lounge with people like Mark Russinovich and other great Microsoft Speakers. The night before my presentation was a bit tiring as there were some last minute glitches with the Demo Lab setup onsite, though I had a backup lab here in Bangalore. We fixed the lab few minutes before my presentation.

There were close to 150-160 attendees in my session ( Advance Virtualization Management) and It was really exciting to see them asking questions and showing interest. Post my session, few of the attendees came to meet me at the Virtualization booth to discuss more.

I hope who were present there did like my session and i hope to see you all next year in Atlanta for TechEd 2011.
