Returning to Blogosphere

I know its been a while (read ages) I have blogged as I did let other things both at work and home kept me occupied but I have been interacting with few of you on twitter (@Iftekharh) and sharing lots of technical content relevant to the world of Windows and Security,

Recently my role got changed to be a Sr. Cyber Security and Threat Management Specialist and I will be working with our customers in helping them protect against modern cyber threats. It will not be just limited to Windows but even email and Infrastructure security.

I have been working on Windows (Endpoint) Security for quite sometime now and now will be able to extend those skills and knowledge to other areas of our computing environment.

I am excited with the opportunities we have together to protect our organizations against these threats.

Going forward I’ll try to be more regular on blogosphere and will bring you best practices, new capabilities and other threat detection and protection technologies coming from Microsoft.
