TechNet Unleashed in Phoenix on May 18, 2009

I want to let everyone in the Phoenix area know that we will be hosting a TechNet Unleashed Event in Phoenix on May 18, 2009 from 8:30 AM - 12 PM.  The event will be held at the Wells Fargo Conference Center located at:

100 West Washington Street, MAC S4101-017
Phoenix Arizona 85003

That's only about a month away.

The topics I will cover during the 3 1/2 hour session are (not necessarily in this order):

1.  Windows 7

What’s new in the world of Desktop operating systems?  Joins us as we discuss some of the cool new features of Microsoft’s newest operating system.  Windows 7 introduces improvements all over the desktop environment from home networking to the way we integrate with online services and of course the way we participate in the corporate network.  Windows 7 is awesome!  Come and see for yourself.

2.  Software + Services

There’s power in software, and power in services. What happens when you use both?  Join us for this discussion of Microsoft’s software plus services strategy.  Learn about the infrastructure that makes it possible and discover which of the offerings might just transform your IT infrastructure for the better. 

3.  Windows Server 2008 R2

Along with the release of Windows 7 Microsoft will also release Windows Server 2008 R2.  In this session we will talk about some of the big changes to the server family and how you can take advantage of the technologies to better your own IT infrastructure.

    I will have some raffle items.  Perhaps one of them will be a TechNet Plus Subscription Voucher.  Who knows.  :-)  You'll have to come and find out. Harold Wong

    Hey Harold, I was at the event and thought it was very helpful. I was wondering if you had time to post a location where we can download the PowerPoint deck. I was wanting to look through that some more to see if there was any other information I could get from it. Thanks again and I hope to attend more events this year. Jared
