TechNet Radio: Virtualization and Experts Café - A Discussion On A Few New Features in Windows Server 2012

I recently started a new TechNet Radio series called Virtualization and Experts Café. On September 6th, 2012, I posted the first interview in the series with Edwin Yuen, Director of Cloud and Virtualization Strategy at Microsoft where we chatted about VMware versus Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V.

This is the second interview in the series where Edwin talks about a few new features in Windows Server 2012 such as Network Enhancements (NIC teaming), Live Migration, Performance and Scale.

Since I would like this series to cover topics that are of interest to listeners, I am asking everyone to please post suggestions for future topics in this series of interviews with Edwin Yuen (and other guests of Edwin). We are working to have Jeff Woolsey on the show as well.

After watching this video, follow these next steps:

Step #1 – Download Windows Server 2012
Step #2 – Download Your FREE Copy of Hyper-V Server 2012

Nora:  Weird.  The video plays fine for me on both a Windows 7 machine and a Windows 8 machine.  Perhaps you can go directly to the Channel 9 page:channel9.msdn.com/.../TechNet-Radio-Virtualization-and-Cloud-Experts-Caf-Whats-New-in-Windows-Server-2012.

Nora, Did you try viewing it directly from the Channel 9 site?  From the Channel 9 site, you can also download different formats of the video to view offline.  Have you tried that to see if it works? Harold

Harold, also I thought with today's technology downloading is some how not necessary? Nora
