System Center 2012 Applications in Beta
For those of you who attended Tech Ed 2011, you know that the betas of SCCM 2012 and SCVMM 2012 have been out. It was also announced that the beta or Community Evaluation Program (CEP) for SCOM 2012 was imminent. At the beginning of this week, Jason Buffington posted to the System Center Blog that the anticipated date had arrived!

System Center Configuration Manager 2012 Beta 2
This next release of SCCM takes the capabilities in SCCM 2007 to the next level. The product has been reworked with a new application / packaging capability and also now includes the ability to manage devices beyond just Windows PCs. Learn more and download the Beta to test today.
System Center Operations Manager 2012 Beta CEP
The next version of SCOM is in beta and the team is looking for some very direct, focused feedback on feature sets. We are currently offering a CEP – Community Evaluation Program to a limited number of applicants. Through this program you will have direct access to Subject Matter Experts, including MVP’s, to discuss new features and provide feedback.
System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 Beta
SCVMM 2012 is much more than just a Virtual Machine Manager. This new version allows you easily apply cloud principles to provisioning and servicing your datacenter applications and resources. You can also use this one tool to manage multiple hypervisor technologies (Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V, VMWare VSphere 4.1 and Citrix XenServer) in a single pane of glass.
I know there are more components in the full suite, but these are the three key components and now we have the 2012 beta versions of all three available to start testing. I know I will be getting my hands on this as soon as I can convince Jason to grant me access!
