Office Communications Server 2007 Success Story
I want to start highlighting success stories around deployments of our (Microsoft) technologies. I will start this off with an Office Communications Server 2007 success story.
The first one I want to highlight is Network Infrastructure Corporation out of the Phoenix area (Arizona). Brian Ricks, who is a consultant with NIC has shared with me that the company successfully rolled out OCS 2007 with full Enterprise Voice capabilities within the company. They are utilizing IM, Presence, On Premise Web Conferencing, Enterprise Voice and A/V Conferencing capabilities. Brian was involved with the design and implementation at the company. They did deploy multiple servers to expose all of the capabilities for users on the internal network as well as those who are outside the LAN (external access - Edge servers in the DMZ). The company is also federated with Microsoft and I have Brian added to my Communicator 2007 contact list (and Brian has me on his).
As I move forward with these types of posts, is there anything else that I should include in terms of details that would help?

Would be interested to hear what challenges/problems they had and how they overcome during the design and implemenation phases.Anonymous

I would like to see lessons learned and what they would have done differently.
