Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Goes Live Today

Office Communications Server 2007 R2 has been out for almost 2 years now.  This release made huge jumps for Enterprise Voice and now we are ready to move on to the next chapter with the latest version.

Today, Lync Server 2010 (successor to OCS) becomes available!  If you are a TechNet or MSDN Subscriber, the 1.5GB ISO is now available for download.  I have to assume the bits are also available on the customer secure Volume Licensing site.

For all the documentation, please visit https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg293124.aspx.  The nice “feature” of this set of documentation is that you can now download all the different pieces as Word documents or continue to view it online as usual.
