Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Response Group Service fails after applying the July 2010 cumulative updates

After applying the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 July 2010 cumulative updates to the

Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Enterprise Edition or Standard Edition servers the

Response Group Service will have to be restarted when:

• New Response Group objects have been created
• Existing Response Group objects have been updated
• A call is routed to the new or updated Response Group objects

In the scenario described above a incoming call to a Response Group Agent from the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Conferencing Service could fail.
