Need blogging solution for spouse
My wife read my blog for the first time yesterday, and she has decided that she wants to try it for herself... but where to blog? dotnetweblogs is great, but this isn't going to be a tech-focused blog (is there a mommyblogs.com?). I have my own site, it even runs ASP.NET but I doubt I can do much (if anything at all) with the server config as it is running on a shared server. Is there a good blogging engine that doesn't require much on the server end other than file access? Can I use w.bloggar against it? Hmm... I need help folks.
It turns out there is a momblogs.com, but I'm not sure they actually offer any blog services...

It would make a good article if you build a one and wrote about your experience. - Anonymous

I've been using BlogX from www.simplegeek.com to experiment with blogging on a personal site that's hosted on a shared server. The author's an MS employee and the engine does a good job. - Anonymous

I'm a big fan of BlogWorksXML. You can find it at www.xasperate.com. It's asp not asp.net. And it's free. - Anonymous

Personally, I'd go with w.bloggar and Blogger.com. You can set up some nice templates, and host them on www.duncanmackenzie.net. Blogger.com will ftp them across when she 'publishes' the blog entry. - Anonymous

You can get one here: http://www.mommyblogs.com
It's not the most feature rich, but it is only for moms and it's open.
