F# at the MVP Summit in Redmond
Over the next few days there is the MVP Summit at Microsoft in Redmond. MVP stands for Most Valuable Professional, a program Microsoft runs for people who share their high-quality, real-world technical expertise with the community and with Microsoft. There are several F# MVPs, and they are really great representatives of the F# community, especially in their feedback to the F# team at Microsoft.
There will be an F# track at the MVP Summit this year, on Tuesday 1 March, which will include presentations on the "Try F#" Beta (yes, you can find it on the web, but I'm not giving a link just yet - I'll write a separate post after the Try F# team give their presentation on Tuesday :-) ).
I'll be arriving a little late for the MVP Summit (flying into Seattle on Monday evening), so will miss the F# MVP TapHouse drinks tonight, but am looking forward to Tuesday's sessions very much!
I'll be staying on in Seattle/Redmond for 10 days, including Microsoft Research TechFest, a wonderful event, followed by one day at SIGCSE, where we'll be giving an F# tutorial.
So, if you're in Redmond over the next 2 weeks, I look forward to seeing you there.
