Ever have one of those days?

You know the kind of day I'm talking about. One of those days when the sun it warmer, the clouds are fewer, the food tastes better, the birds are singing louder, and everything just falls into place exactly how you want it to. Well, I had one of those days today. I'm blogging offline on a non-stop flight from Seattle to Charlotte. This was originally NOT a non-stop flight and I was originally NOT in first class. See what I mean?

It all started this morning at a quarter to 8 when I met a famous CLR blogger for the first time in the lobby of building 5 (no, I'm not going to tell you who he is for reasons I'll probably reveal later). I spent all day today being interviewed by one of the smallest and brightest teams at Microsoft. At the end of the day, I was surprised to hear the results of these interviews, and have been on cloud 9 ever since. I apologize for being so vague, but I just had to blog something about this. I'm so excited I can't contain myself. I promise to post another entry once I've made a decision and have a start date.

I can say with a very high level of certainty that the number of days Charlotte will remain my home city are very limited. Esse and I are already looking for properties in the Seattle area that are 6+ acres with lots of trees and some form of water (lake, river, creek, the Puget Sound, etc.) so if you have any recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Congratulations! It's great to know that the benefits of your talents will be shared by more developers. Your WSE samples were a great learning resource for us all - I can't wait to see what you get up to with the CLR team.
