Make sure you patch Internet Explorer

If you haven't done so already then do make sure you have updated your system with all the latest updates and most notably updates for Internet Explorer by going to https://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate.  For more information go to https://www.microsoft.com/protect/computer/updates/bulletins/200812_oob.mspx.
