PhotoStory 3 is released today
PhotoStory 3 is released today and the great news is that it's free for verified Windows XP owners. Sean Alexander writes about some of the new features on his blog.
I think using PhotoStory and MovieMaker together is a great combination to turn your photos and video into a compelling movie. I'll have to write a little post soon on how I've done this in the past and host my final video somewhere for people to check out.
Just Added: Channel 9 has a video interview with some of the PhotoStory team.

Sorry, it is Windows XP only so I'm afraid it doesn't apply to Windows Server 2003.

I've downloaded and installed PS3 but find it is unusable. When I create a slide show, the pictures' colors are changed to have a purple tint. Any suggestions??? - Anonymous

Sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm not really an expert on the internals of PhotoStory so you will probably be better off by posting a message to the microsoft.public.plus newsgroup.
Good luck

I discovered my problem with poor color in a PhotoStory 3 slide show. I have a Hauppauge 2000 TV device that interferes with the display of PS3 shows. If the TV is shut off, the color is perfect. Thanks for your comments. - Anonymous
