My Name is David... And I Have A Problem!
So they reckon this is the first step! Admitting you have a problem. Well, I think I'm ready.
I got up this morning at 7:30am, Yil has discovered the most efficient means of waking me up, and it comes in the form of a 39kg rottweiler and death by licks! So anyway, Yil headed off to work and I got my stuff ready to ride into work, planning on getting in around 9am (it's about an 1 hour ride)... instead, I arrive at 11:30am!
It's at these times when it grips me! Like the hands of a giant, fingers entwined around my two thumbs, drawing me to the green light. I resist, I resist as much as I can, oh mama, but I'm weak, and before I know it, I'm in the bean bag. A simple trip to my study to get my riding shoes becomes far more sinister.
Minutes turn to hours, just one more "task" turns to one more, I become more craned, more slumped over, I keep looking over at the wall clock, reassuring myself that it's not really "that" late. Like the limp body consumed by voltage at an electricity fence, I have to use mind, body and soul to pry myself away from it, the little grey box. It's a battle I have to win, but I'm losing.
I know I'll beat this, I feel I'll regain control, I hope to take the Stracci's stronghold in New Jersey very soon... oh no, it's coming again...

Just over a week ago I made it to the big 25! For some that will conjure up old memories long forgotten
