More about "Developing Software for the Future Microsoft Platform"
Since the ISV event “Developing Software for the Future Microsoft Platform” I mentioned in my last blog, a number of articles have appeared in the press about it, from Computer Weekly, c|net, and a rather bizarre one in it-analysis.
There’s plenty of links in these reports if you want to follow up and read more about the next release of Visual Studio, code name Whidbey, due out in around a years time, and Longhorn, the next release of windows, due out in two to three years, according to Bill Gates, but the best place to start would be the MSDN Longhorn site and MSDN Whidbey site.
The two guys who ran the day in true style were Don Box and Chris Anderson – check out their blogs to see what they thought of it all.
