Dan, I never introduced this as an easter egg - merely as 'something you'd like'. I guess I was refering to what is now DreamScene (but wasn't allowed to mention at the time).. Dave.Anonymous

It also works with other screensavers!..i think /p65552 will disable mouseclick or mousemover events!! posted some pics at http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=518025&st=0&gopid=588102464&Anonymous

It's not an easter egg. /p is the flag used to tell the screen saver to use an existing hwnd instead of creating a new hwnd. (It's how screen savers show up in the little "monitor" picture in the Display control panel.) 65552 happens to often times be the hwnd of the desktop on a Vista machine, so the screen saver runs in the desktop. The reason mouseover doesn't dismiss it should be obvious if you consider the reason for this flag existing is for it to run in the Display control panel...Anonymous

How boring. I am sorry, but there have been much better easter eggs than that one in the past. Surley that is more of a feature that can be used to do other things rather than a deliberate easter egg. I think the best one so far in a windows OS is the ASCII Star Wars film in telnet in XP. Tha was brilliant.Anonymous
