Object Test Bench Doesn't Work For Web Projects

A customer recently emailed me asking why Object Test Bench doesn't work for Web projects and it seems there isn't any documentation on this limitation anywhere. In short, Object Test Bench (OTB) does *not* work with Web projects. Due to a bug, OTB still shows as being an enabled feature for Web projects when it should really be disabled. The OTB team is looking to update the docs to call out this limitation so you don't rack your brain trying to figure out what's wrong...

    This is absolutely ridiculous.

    Why this limitation?

I would think that big enterprise web projects would be the IDEAL reason to have the OTB at all.

Ugh... Just wasted an hour trying to get OTB going in a web service I am working on. Thanks for the post, I can now move on to play with OTB another day :)

I guess bugs easily happen when source code and/or interface are copied verbatim, a la BlueJ...  Of course, Microsoft has a long and well-known history of copying features and claiming them as MS' "innovations".  On the other hand, I should give MS some credit; without its innovation, I might be able to use a word processor effectively without an annoying little "Clippy!" popping up.
