The sun is rising!

It's 4:15 am and it's already light out here. In 30 minutes my room will be bright and hot and I'll be tossing and turning under the covers trying to fall asleep. Ahhhh the joys of Seattle in the summer. I'd be annoyed except that it's worth it given how beautiful the weather is all day long for spring, summer and fall. Of course I get to look forward to 6 months from now when it will be dark at 4 pm and my body will not understand what's going on when it doesn't see daylight for weeks at a time. I'm sure there must be some bizarre psychological effect that this is having on me. But I have noticed any problems yet... (now if I could just get this nervous tick to go away!) :-D

My two best investments in Seattle:
    - $30 black-out curtains (for summertime)
    - $80 sunrise alarm clock (for wintertime)

SubZero: Windowblinds do nothing. This is full blown surface of the sun like experience.

Jonathan. I have a decent set of curtains, but I think I may invest in these "black-out curtains" I like the sound of that.

    What's a sunrise alarm clock?
