Surface - oh you can touch it!

I have to admit that I hadn't given this product much time, but at a company conference last week, Bill Gates demoed Microsoft Surface and as cheesy as it sounds, all I could say was "WOW WEE"

Think Tom Cruise in Minority report.....I watched in amazement as Bill looked at a screen and was dragging digital content around the screen. With photos he could spin them round or change their size at a press of a finger. At one point, he had a Zune on the screen, then he placed another Zune on the screen and could literally drag music from one device to the other

It was watching this demo, that I realised that this really is the future, except is it.....what I saw will be available in Winter 2007. So it really is (well just about)...NOW
