The website says it all:
When?
SQLBits will be holding its next Free community conference on the 1st March 2008
Where?
We will be again sponsored by Microsoft but we will be holding the conference at Aston University Lakeside Conference Centre.
The conference centre is a custom built in the heart of Birmingham and increases our capacity to 440. The venue is easily accessible off the M6 and is walking distance from Birmingham New Street station. This opens up the conference to more of the UK.
The layout and size of rooms will also enable us to reduce congestion for popular sessions and provide more room during the breaks.
What?
We will be having 20 sessions again covering everything from spatial data types, to index plans, to data mining. The exact agenda will be decided by you the people attending.
Sessions have now been submitted and its up to you to vote on the sessions you want to see on the day. Once you register on the site you will be able to vote for your preferred sessions. We will pool all the votes to decide which sessions will be presented on the day.
Who?
Sessions will be given by the people from the SQL community, i.e. You. Sessions have now been submitted. You can see the speakers that are going to present here. Remember you as the community will get to choose the sessions by voting for the ones you would like to see.
Why?
Because we're mad about SQL and we got great feedabck from the last one,
"The event is well organized. I was kept well-informed of conference information by emails. Speakers at the conference are excellent."
"Liked the educational aspect in terms of tips and tricks presented."
"I thought facilities, organisation and the food were all excellent!"
"Well looked after in regard to refreshment and venue, good quality of speakers."
"Food and refreshments, staff and event organised, friendly and helpful"
