Men and their wallets

No, this is not going to comment on whether men put their hands in their pockets and buy us ladies a drink and a nice meal, but rather men choosing which wallet to purchase.

I have just sparked off a debate in the office here and was surprised at the reaction. They all took it very seriously, and yes I would argue more seriously than us ladies buying bags...but why is this, well because wallets are used on a daily basis. A wallet is a daily used item (well so long as they are buying those drinks! ;))

Matt said he tried out a clip but it broke pretty quickly, David liked a lot of compartments to keep his stuff tidy and Gavin liked to keep as much out of it as possible.

Oh and the other thing...apparently it shouldn't be too thick or it ruins the line at the back of the trousers!

So, are there any other wallet buying criteria?
