Yeah, too bad they've been working on it forever. I first got interested in this back in the 90's when I came across it as a cool research program at the University of Washington. Then it moved to a company, Microvision. I even bought stock in them, and made some internet-bubble money. Unfortunately, it seems like they just keep making deals with various defense agencies, and never really come out with anything even vaguely consumer-oriented. Still, deep in my cynical heart I still hope that someday...
