Life Lessons from Randy Pausch
Randy Pausch, as a Carnegie Mellon University professor, developed the programming language called “Alice” (https://www.alice.org/) and is a past recipient of Microsoft Research funding on Game Development.
As a longtime educator, I found this lecture from Randy particularly compelling. It contains so many life lessons that will inspire and move you:
Randy talks about: “Brick walls are there for a reason. They let us prove how badly we want things.”

Don, I appreciate the comment. And you are so right about the whole lecture since it provides the underlying context, history, relationships, and more -- this gives the lecture a special vibrancy. Best regards, StephenAnonymous

How could you fail to be truly inspired by this man. He is one of those very few people who come along once in a lifetime. I can only hope that the fortunate people that he helped and taught fully appreciate the unique experience that they had and do justice to his legacy.
