BUILD Conference Excites Developer Community
Microsoft is “BUILDING” a bridge with its developers this week in Anaheim, Calif. We’re constantly innovating and reimagining solutions for our customers and BUILD is an event that shows modern hardware and software developers how to take advantage of the future of Windows and provides an avenue for them to discuss other products and tools we’re working on.
At the D9 conference back in June, we gave a sneak peek of the next generation of Windows - “Windows 8,” but this week, we’ve revealed more about the direction we’re taking. We’re excited about the variety of new features within Windows 8 such as touch-first user interface, powerful applications and a seamless experience that syncs across all of your devices. The increased accessibility of applications across devices also brings about some exciting opportunities to drive innovation and creativity within the developer community. But, this week isn’t only about Windows - we’re also previewing other advancements in Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio 11, code-named “Windows Server 8,” and new capabilities for Windows Azure.
