Here’s what it takes to become a Certified Microsoft Office 365 Specialist: schedule, prepare for and pass one of these two exams:
Exam 70-346: Managing Office 365 Identities and Requirements — is for you if you take part in evaluating, planning, deploying, and operating the Office 365 services, including its dependencies, requirements, and supporting technologies.
To get certified by passing this exam, you’ll need to already be familiar with the features and capabilities of Office 365, as well as strong skills around managing cloud identities with Microsoft PowerShell.
This exam tests your knowledge of how to:
- Provision Office 365
- Plan and implement networking and security in Office 365
- Manage Cloud Identities
- Implement and manage identities by Azure AD Connect
- Implement and manage federated identities for single sign on
- Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 availability and usage
Exam 70-347: Enabling Office 365 Services — is for people who take part in evaluating, planning, deploying, and operating the Office 365 services, including its dependencies, requirements, and supporting technologies.
To get certified by passing this exam, you should have experience with the Office 365 Admin Center and an understanding of Microsoft Exchange Online, Skype for Business Online, SharePoint Online, Office 365 ProPlus, and Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
In order to pass, you’ll need to know how to:
- Manage clients and end-user devices
- Provision SharePoint Online site collections
- Configure Exchange Online and Skype for Business Online for end users
- Plan for Exchange Online and Skype for Business Online
