Microsoft Partners Go For Gold With Ground Breaking Transformations
It comes as no surprise that Microsoft partners are leading innovation across Australia. Each of the 10,000 partners in the Australian Microsoft ecosystem are doing amazing work each day.
Every year we shine a spotlight on some of the transformational work being done by our partners; and every year we attract a very high calibre of often world-leading submissions for the Microsoft Australia Partner Awards (MAPA). This year was no exception.
We focussed on five award categories that really spell out the impact that Microsoft technologies and our partners are having when it comes to optimising your operations; transforming your products; empowering your employees; engaging your customers; and, using the cloud for good.
It was not easy to select the winners out of the stellar field of MAPA 2017 submissions, but the following partners stood out.
- GIS People won the Optimise Your Operations award with its Gruntify solution that was used to collect and share data about the damage caused by Cyclone Debbie earlier this year. It helped the Queensland Government get residents and businesses back on their feet faster than ever before.
- Advance Computing won the Transform Your Products award with a cloud based solution that has streamlined and simplified water brokering for farmers who are part of the Waterpool Co-op, delivering a 35 per cent business increase in the last year.
- The Empower Your Employees award went to Insync Technology which has deployed Azure, Skype for Business, Surface Hub and Office 365 to support people working for the Central Highlands Regional Council. Online communications and collaboration saves employees long drives of up to six hours at a time, making them more productive each day.
- Avanade won the Engage Your Customers award with a cloud based solution for Treasury Wine Estates that provides much greater and more granular insights about sales and inventory ensuring stocks never run low and customer expectations are met.
This year’s Cloud For Good award was shared by two very worthy recipients - Cloud Collective and Single Cell.
- Cloud Collective (comprising Microsoft partners Antares, Modality and Quorum) developed a ground breaking solution for Mission Australia that streamlines operations and supports staff so that they can spend more time with clients.
- Single Cell worked with the Centre for Aboriginal Health on an Azure based contract and analytics platform that delivers clarity about services, patient behaviours and potential improvements in order to optimise outcomes.
Congratulations to all the MAPA 2017 award winners. We are so proud of what all of our partners are achieving already; together we can make the future even brighter.
