"DNS name does not exist" error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR

If you get this while trying to join a box to the domain, point the box to the DC's DNS IP.

Fixed it for me!

    Didn't work for me.  Still get An active directory domain controler for the network cannot be contacted.  The only solution to this problem that I have found is to wipe and rebuild the client.

    We had this - turned off ipv6... bobs your uncle.
