My memecloud (of old)
I found this sitting in my archive somewhere. It's a sketch I drew up in August 2002 and published to an old blog (since died), called 'memecloud'.
This was my 'memecloud' - a collection of memes that were dominating my thought-space at the time. I used it as an index / toc and wrote up a series of essays (in my achives, I should republish these somewhere).
I haven't seen this for a couple of years. Looking back on it now there seem to be some fairly obvious links missing between concepts. Anyway, thought I'd share this randomness with you....
I wonder what my memecloud would look like today? What would yours look like?

I was thinking of a fractal, with the relationships and relevance forming the nodes and the position of the nodes, a little like sequoia view; or my mother suggested a garden was a good analogy for the way attention data grew and withered with beds and planting :)Anonymous
