Sybase's SQL Anywhere ADO.NET Provider Supports the ADO.NET Entity Framework!

Another Entity Framework-enabled ADO.NET providers post! Woohoo!

It is my pleasure to announce that as part of the release of SQL Anywhere 11, Sybase iAnywhere has added Entity Framework support to their ADO.NET provider. For more information on the SQL Anywhere 11 release, please see the following announcement on the Sybase web site:

Congratulations to everyone else at Sybase who contributed to the release!

Enjoy!

Don't suppose someone could light a fire under IBM and get them working harder on the provider for DB2 for iSeries (which is different that just DB2)?!?

Following up on MotoWilliams' comment - No need for a fire.  The folks who work on IBM's .NET provider have been part of the Entity Framework provider push since our initial ProviderFest in the summer of 2006.  They've just made their Entity Framework-enabled provider available.  See the link in this comment, which will take you to our blog post about the recent release.  Enjoy.
