Hello,
1、Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter
Windows includes a built-in troubleshooter to fix common update issues:
Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
Select Windows Update and click Run the troubleshooter.
Follow the on-screen instructions to apply any recommended fixes.
2、Try to reset all Windows Update components:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Run the following commands one by one:
net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
net stop cryptsvc
ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start bits
net start cryptsvc
3、Try to manually Install the Update
If the error persists, download and install the update manually:
Visit the Microsoft Update Catalog. Microsoft Update Catalog
Search for the specific update causing the error (e.g., using the KB number).
Download and install the update manually.
Best Regards,
Hania Lian
