The following articles provide information about email integration. After you install SharePoint Server, you can configure incoming and outgoing email. These optional settings are useful if you want to work with email in the server farm.
Configure incoming email for a SharePoint Server farm - This article describes how to configure incoming email so that SharePoint Server sites accept and archive incoming email.
