segmentTimeToSimpleTime Method

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Converts a value in the element's segment timeline to the corresponding point in the element's simple timeline.

Syntax

simpleTime = object.segmentTimeToSimpleTime(segmentTime)

Parameters

segmentTime Required. An Integer that specifies a point on the element's segment timeline.

Return Value

An Integer that specifies the point in the element's simple timeline that corresponds to segmentTime.

Example

This example uses the segmentTimeToSimpleTime method to compare the value of the element's segment timeline to the corresponding point in the element's simple timeline.
