Sets or retrieves the expanded state of this element.

 

Syntax

Property values

Type: BSTR

The expanded state.

(true)

The element is expanded.

(false)

The element is not expanded.

(undefined)

Default. The element state is unknown.

Note  For cross-browser compatibility, always use the WAI-ARIA attribute syntax to access and modify ARIA properties, for example object.setAttribute("aria-valuenow", newValue).
