AlertSystem.ForwardingSeverity Property

Gets or sets the minimum severity level of error event that is to be forwarded to another instance of Microsoft SQL Server.

Property Value

An Int32 value that specifies the minimum severity level for event forwarding.

Remarks

SQL Server Agent can be configured to forward events to another server running SQL Server. The ForwardingSeverity property is one mechanism used to control the events forwarded.

Set ForwardingSeverityto restrict event forwarding to those events generated by errors with a severity greater than or equal to the property value. Event forwarding can be further restricted using the IsForwardedAlways property.

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.
