Remarks
Updated text:5 December 2005
Updated sample code:5 December 2005
Each HostedEventProviderArgument has a parent HostedEventProvider. You typically supply the parent object when you create the HostedEventProviderArgument using the HostedEventProviderArgument(HostedEventProvider,String) constructor.
If you set the parent in the constructor, do not set the parent using this property. Setting the parent twice throws an exception.
Example
The following examples show how to define the Parent property when using the default constructor:
// Define an argument for a hosted provider and set properties.
HostedEventProviderArgument fileArg_Directory =
new HostedEventProviderArgument();
fileArg_Directory.Name = "WatchDirectory";
fileArg_Directory.Parent = flightEventProvider;
fileArg_Directory.Value = sampleDirectory + @"\Events";
flightEventProvider.HostedEventProviderArguments.Add(fileArg_Directory);
' Define an argument for a hosted provider and set properties.
Dim fileArg_Directory As HostedEventProviderArgument = _
New HostedEventProviderArgument()
fileArg_Directory.Name = "WatchDirectory"
fileArg_Directory.Parent = flightEventProvider
fileArg_Directory.Value = sampleDirectory + "\Events"
flightEventProvider.HostedEventProviderArguments.Add(fileArg_Directory)
