PipelineBuffer.SetSByte Method

Assigns a signed 8-bit integer to a buffer column. This method is not CLS-compliant.

Parameters

  • columnIndex
    The index of the column in the buffer row.
  • value
    The value assigned to the buffer column.

Remarks

The SetSByte method assigns an sbyte to the buffer column specified by the columnIndex parameter.

If the value being assigned to the buffer column is not an sbyte or the column data type is not DT_I1, an UnsupportedBufferDataTypeException occurs.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
