Synchronize Subscription

The Synchronize Subscription dialog box in SQL Server Management Studio enables you to reinitialize a subscription, upload changes from the Subscriber before reinitializing, or discard all Subscriber changes during reinitialization. The Synchronize dialog box is not available in SQL Server Management Studio Express.

Options

Reinitialize subscription

Select the Reinitialize subscription check box if you want to reinitialize a SQL Server Compact Edition subscription.

Upload changes from the Subscriber before reinitializing

Select the Upload changes radio button if you want to upload changes before beginning the reinitialization.

Discard all Subscriber changes

Select the Discard all Subscriber changes radio button if you want all changes at the Subscriber deleted. The subscription will be reinitialized and the Subscriber will be sent the current data from the Publisher.

Internet Password

Enter the Internet password if Web Authentication is used during synchronization.

SQL Server Password

Enter the SQL Server password if SQL Server Authentication is used during synchronization.
