PullSubscription.Remove Method

Removes the pull subscription.

Namespace: Microsoft.SqlServer.Replication
Assembly: Microsoft.SqlServer.Rmo (in microsoft.sqlserver.rmo.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Sub Remove
public void Remove ()
public:
void Remove ()
public void Remove ()
public function Remove ()

Remarks

After removing the subscription at the Subscriber, you must call RemovePullSubscription or RemovePullSubscription to remove the subscription registration at the Publisher.

The Remove method can only be called by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Publisher or by members of the db_owner fixed database role on the subscription database.

Calling Remove is equivalent to executing sp_droppullsubscription (Transact-SQL) or sp_dropmergepullsubscription (Transact-SQL).

This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the .NET Framework.

Example

This example deletes a pull subscription to a transactional publication.

string subscriberName = subscriberInstance;
string subscriptionDbName = "AdventureWorksReplica";
