NSInstance.ArgumentKey Property

Gets or sets the key used to encrypt delivery channel and event provider arguments that are stored in Notification Services databases.

Property Value

A string containing the key value used to encrypt delivery channel and event provider arguments in the instance and application databases. The encryption key string can contain up to 2500 characters.

Remarks

The argument key is stored in the Microsoft Windows registry. You must provide the same key when registering, creating, and updating an instance of Notification Services.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
