DatabaseRole2 Object
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
The DatabaseRole2 object represents the properties of a single database role in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and later and extends the functionality of the DatabaseRole object.

Remarks
The DatabaseRole2 object extends the functionality of the DatabaseRole object for use with features that were introduced in SQL Server 2000. It also inherits the properties and methods of the DatabaseRole object.
The IsDeleted property of the DatabaseRole2 object may not be compatible with instances of SQL Server version 7.0 or earlier. For more information about using the DatabaseRole2 object in an application that also runs with an instance of SQL Server 7.0, refer to the Remarks section of the IsDeleted property.
