AppRole Property
This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.
The AppRole property exposes the security context for a database role.

Remarks
Microsoft SQL Server supports database roles defined specifically for use by client applications. For more information about database roles used by client applications, see Starting a Subscription Management Project.
A password is required for any application role. If AppRole is TRUE, a value must be supplied for the DatabaseRole object Password property.
