LEFT (Report Builder)
Returns the left most characters of a string.
Syntax
LEFT(string, length)
string |
Specifies the string from which to obtain the left-most characters. |
length |
Specifies the number of characters to obtain. |
Example

Returns the first 10 characters from each instance of the Description field. |
