Parameters

The error message that explains the reason for the exception.
- inner
Type: System..::.Exception
The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.
Remarks
If the inner parameter is not a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.
DatabaseIntegrityException is thrown if, during the course of any operation affecting database records, it is found that the database has been externally modified in a way that is not compatible with the product. These scenarios include modification of database constraints, deletion of internally managed records, or unrecognized enumeration values in data columns.
