Partition Dialog Box

Use the Partition dialog box to add a new partition or edit the selected partition.

Use this	To do this
Edit	Click to open the LDAP Connection String dialog box if LDAPv3 Compliant Source was selected in the Data Sourcedialog box. Click to open the Data Link Properties dialog box if OLEDB-ANSI Provider was selected in the Data Sourcedialog box.
Test	Click to test the connection string.
Partition Name	Type a programmatic name for this partition. The partition name can contain 127 alphanumeric characters, and the underscore (_) symbol. The name cannot contain spaces.
Default Partition	Select to designate this partition as the default partition.
LDAPv3 Binding Credentials: User Name	Type the user name for the LDAP source.
LDAPv3 Binding Credentials: Password	Type the password for the LDAP source.
