How to Create Product Associations

This topic describes how to create product associations.

To create a product association

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 , and then click Catalog Manager.

  2. In Catalog Manager, in the Views pane, click Catalogs.

  3. In the Catalogs pane, select the catalog and the category to which you want to create a product association.

  4. In the Task pane, click Edit Category Properties.

  5. In the <Category Name> screen, on the Product Associations tab, in the Product associations list, select the product to associate with the category.

  6. To add more product associations, click Add to open the Product Picker dialog box; otherwise, click Save and close on the toolbar.

  7. In the Product Picker dialog box, search for the product you want for the association.

  8. In the Results pane, select the product, and then click OK.

  9. Click Save and close on the toolbar.
