Delete Task Properties Dialog Box
Use the Delete Task dialog box to specify the data that you want to delete from the Data Warehouse by using the Data Deletion DTS task. You can select to delete detailed log file data for a specified site, or for all the sites associated with the Data Warehouse. In addition, you can delete log file data to reduce the size of the Data Warehouse. Alternatively, you can delete all data from the Data Warehouse, for example, if you have imported test data and want to empty the Data Warehouse before importing valid data.

Description |
Type a description for the deletion task. The maximum number of characters for the description is 255 characters. |
Operation level |
From the drop-down list, select one of these options:

Site name |
Select from the drop-down list the site that contains the data that you want to delete. |
Data Warehouse name |
Select from the drop-down list the Data Warehouse associated with the sites that contain the Web log files you want to delete. |
Select delete type |
From the drop-down list, select one of these options:

All data |
Select to delete both summary and detail data imported from the selected Web log files. |
Detail data |
Select to delete only detailed data imported from the selected Web log files. |
Number of retries |
Type the number of times you want the task to retry connection failures to the Data Warehouse. The default number is 10 times. |
Seconds between retries |
Type the number of seconds you want the task to wait between retry attempts. The default time interval is 30 seconds. |

From the drop-down list, select one of these options:
