Use the Commerce Server 2007 Upgrade Wizard when you are ready to port your existing data and resources and start working on a Commerce Server 2007 site.
Complete these tasks before you use the Upgrade Wizard:
Back up all site data, site resources, and global resources.
Learn about the changes the Upgrade Wizard can make. For more information about these changes, see Planning Commerce Server 2007 Migration.
If your current operating system is Windows 2000, upgrade to Windows Server 2003.
Make the required API changes to your site code before or after you use the Upgrade Wizard. For more information about these API changes, see Site Code Migration Guidelines.
