How to Install SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services

This topic provides steps for installing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services. For instructions about how to install Microsoft SQL Server 2000, see How to Install SQL Server 2000.
To install SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services
Insert the SQL Server 2000 product CD into the CD Drive.
If the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 splash screen does not appear, run the autorun.exe file from the product CD.
In the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 splash screen, click SQL Server 2000 Components.
In the Install Components screen, click Install Analysis Services.
In the SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services dialog box that instructs you to apply a Service Pack after SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services installation, click Continue.
On the Welcome to the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services Setup program page, click Next.
On the Software License Agreement page, read the Microsoft Software License Terms, and then click Yes to continue with the installation.
On the Select Components page, accept the default installation location, and then click Next.
On the Select Program Folder page, click Next.
In the Setup Complete dialog box, click Finish.
After you complete SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services installation, download and run SQL Server 2000 Service Service Pack 4.
