<Site> Node

Use the <Site> node to view or modify the properties defined for the site.

  • Double-click the <Site> node to expand and collapse it.

  • Click the <Site> node to display the management functions available for the site in the right pane.

  • Right-click the <Site> node to access the following options:

To do this

New

Access the management functions for the site. The functions available are as follows:

  • Add Resource. Starts the Site Packager tool to add a resource to the site from an existing site package file.

  • Add Application. Starts the Site Packager tool to add an application to the site from an existing site package file.

  • Add Non-Commerce Application. Access the New Non-Commerce Application dialog box that lets you add a non-Commerce application to the site. You add non-Commerce applications to a site so that you can create non-Commerce Web servers from which the Data Warehouse will import and analyze log files.

All Tasks

Access the tasks available for this node. The tasks available are as follows:

  • Pack the site. Opens the Site Packager tool that guides you through the process of packaging the site into a .pup file.

View

Access Microsoft Management Console (MMC) view options. For more information, click Help Topics on the Help menu of the main window and access the "Hide or display features of a saved MMC console"topic.

New Window from Here

Open a new window with the selected global resource and its child objects in a new MMC window.

Delete

Delete the selected application.

Refresh

Update the content of all MMC console windows.

Export List

Save the list of child objects defined under the <Site> node to a text file.
