Executing ASP.NET Mobile Controls Side-By-Side
Microsoft is committed to issuing regular releases of ASP.NET, including the ASP.NET Mobile Controls. Many users will choose to run their mobile application on two or more versions of the .NET Framework, including the mobile controls, often to test for compatibility issues before committing to the latest release. Running multiple versions of the .NET Framework and ASP.NET is called side-by-side execution.
